spkeep

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 28, 2026

1. The service

spkeep (“we”, “us”) provides a free web tool that lets you download audio from public X (Twitter) Spaces. No account and no X login are required: most public Spaces are resolved in guest mode, and the audio is converted on demand to M4A or MP3. We do not host a catalog of audio, and we do not sell or stream content. spkeep is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. (formerly Twitter); X and Twitter are trademarks of their respective owners.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only for content you have the right to download — for example, your own Spaces, or Spaces whose host has permitted downloading. You must not:

You are solely responsible for how you use downloaded audio.

3. How it works

When you submit a Space or tweet link, our server resolves the Space through X’s public interfaces, fetches the audio stream, and converts it to the format you chose. Generated files are kept for a maximum of 2 hours and then automatically deleted. Download history and preferences are stored only in your own browser (see our Privacy Policy).

4. Availability and limits

The service is provided free of charge and “as is”. To keep it usable for everyone, downloads are rate-limited (currently 10 per hour and 50 per day per IP, one concurrent download per IP). We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service, or adjust limits, at any time without notice.

5. Intellectual property

Audio downloaded through the service belongs to its respective rights holders (typically the Space host and speakers). Using this tool does not grant you any rights in that audio. Our own branding, logo, and site content belong to us.

6. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.

7. Copyright complaints

If you believe content processed by the service infringes your copyright, please follow the process on our DMCA & Takedown page.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the date shown above. Material changes take effect 7 days after posting; continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the service shall be submitted to the competent courts in South Dakota.
